My Makala Dolphin Ukulele from Uke Republic

Hello fellow..

My Ukulele is finally arrived after almost 2 months waiting for shipment.

I bought it from Uke Republic, and Mike the owner is such a great businessman. He answered all my queries and questions, and on top of that he's willing to replace my almost missing Uke. Luckily my uke was not missing just stranded at the postal office await for my clearence.
The package comes with:

- Makala Dolphin Soprano Ukulele for US$48.00
- Carrying bag
- Aquila Nylgut strings
- A tuner for US$20.90
- A start guide booklet
Mike helped to set up the Aquila strings, tune it and preps it with no additional cost. I added a tuner for easy tuning.

My cute ukulele is a Soprano. I chose the soprano which is the smallest type because I want an instrument that I can easily carry everywhere and can be put inside a bag while I'm on the airplane.

Why Makala Dolphin? Because I'm a beginner and need something that is cheap but not crap. It's a well made for the price, it has a cute dolphin shape bridge, it sounds tender crisp with new Nylgut Aquila strings and everyone who owned this lil fellow loved it..so I'm hooked.

Brunei Beaches : Pantai Tungku

Brunei Darussalam offers numbers of beautiful beaches, and some of them can be reach not more than an hour drive from the airport. One of them is Tungku Beach or Pantai Tungku.

We went there a couple of times with our friends, had a wonderful picnic while watching the sunset...

Such a great time.

SilkyGirl Magic BB Powder Foundation SPF 20/PA+

On my last post, I mentioned that I got the wrong shade of this powder foundation. But I dont want to throw this beauty because I really like the coverage and the finish look on my face. Therefore I bought the 01 Ivory and use it as my highlighter.. Glad I did this :D

 

What I like about this powder foundation, it covers pretty well but feels lightweight, gives me a matte finish and it comes with spf. The most important thing it didn't break me out. The price is very cheap, and it available at any Guardian drugstore here in Brunei.

What I don't like about this, it didn't stay long, 5 hours top. But despite the staying power, I definitely will repurchase.

My OTC Psoriasis Treatments

Two years ago while in Seoul, Korea, I finally found my HG over the counter body wash that can calm my P. It is Neutrogena Norwegian Formula Moisturizing Body Wash. It was so easy to find because it is made in Korea, and can be found at almost local store such as Family Mart, E-mart or Lotte Mart.  

OMG.. OMG.. OMG.. Alhamdulillah I finally found something that can vanish my patches, it is completely cleared up. I hope Neutrogena Korea will never ever ever discontinued this body wash.

When I went back to Jakarta, my P reappeared, because I couldn't find it at any store or drugstore in Jakarta. Luckily my sister in Singapore said that it is available at Watson's, so when ever she come home for holiday, I asked her to buy me at least 4 bottles for my stocks. 

I haven't got any luck finding it here in Brunei either :((.

My next HG OTC is Neutrogena Formula Noruega Hidratacion Intensiva Locion Corporal. This is made from Greece. I found this beauty at SKH Supermarket Airport Mall Brunei. And I definitely loooove this lotion, it's really moisturizing, stay all day long, glides over skin smoothly and making my skin silky smooth feeling. I don't mind the smell although it's quite annoying to some people. In short, I really really really like this lotion, in my opinion this lotion is better than the Physiogel AI Cream and the Lush Dream Cream Lotion... My best lotion ever.

And for my scalp itchiness, I use Polytar Liquid Shampoo from Stiefel Laboratories Singapore. I bought this charm at Guardian, here in Brunei... It relives my flaky and itchy scalp. Love love love.. It smells horrible, so to make this work, I use Palmer's Coconut Oil Formula Repairing Conditioner and my hair will smell delish. 

 

I do wish that Neutrogena and Palmer's will not use the Parabens and Sulfate on their products anymore.

Less is More

Face of the day is "Less is More".

Most of the products I am using here was bought from Brunei's local drugstore, Guardian, at Giant Hypermarket Kampung Rimba. So aside the easy everyday neutral make-up look, in my opinion, "Less is More" make-up is to spend less money to get more products.. hehe

Here's what I put on my face:

• Mentholatum Skin Aqua UV Moisture Milk SPF 50+ PA+++

• Tony Moly Expert Smoothing Primer

• SilkyGirl Magic BB Powder Foundation SPF 20/PA+ (03 Medium), this color is too dark and orange  for me.. next  I'll buy the lighter shade because I really like this powder

• SilkyGirl Blush Hour (01 Nectar Blush)

• Viva Queen Eyebrow Pencil (Brown)

• SilkyGirl Moisture Rich Lipstick (24 Pure)

• L'Oreal Paris Glam Shine Fresh (186 Aqua Grapefruit)

I look so sleepy because I forgot to put on mascara or eye liner, but later I put my glasses on, so no worries for me. My fave mascara is Maybelline The Hypercurl Volume Express Water Proof Mascara. And my ultimate eyeliner is Revlon Colorstay Liquid Liner in Charcoal.

There you go. I' m ready for running my errands...
