SilkyGirl Magic BB Powder Foundation SPF 20/PA+

On my last post, I mentioned that I got the wrong shade of this powder foundation. But I dont want to throw this beauty because I really like the coverage and the finish look on my face. Therefore I bought the 01 Ivory and use it as my highlighter.. Glad I did this :D

 

What I like about this powder foundation, it covers pretty well but feels lightweight, gives me a matte finish and it comes with spf. The most important thing it didn't break me out. The price is very cheap, and it available at any Guardian drugstore here in Brunei.

What I don't like about this, it didn't stay long, 5 hours top. But despite the staying power, I definitely will repurchase.

Less is More

Face of the day is "Less is More".

Most of the products I am using here was bought from Brunei's local drugstore, Guardian, at Giant Hypermarket Kampung Rimba. So aside the easy everyday neutral make-up look, in my opinion, "Less is More" make-up is to spend less money to get more products.. hehe

Here's what I put on my face:

• L'Oreal Paris Dermo-Expertise Revitalift Anti-Wrinkle + Firming Aqua Milk

• Mentholatum Skin Aqua UV Moisture Milk SPF 50+ PA+++

• Tony Moly Expert Smoothing Primer

• SilkyGirl Magic BB Powder Foundation SPF 20/PA+ (03 Medium), this color is too dark and orange  for me.. next  I'll buy the lighter shade because I really like this powder

• SilkyGirl Blush Hour (01 Nectar Blush)

• Viva Queen Eyebrow Pencil (Brown)

• SilkyGirl Moisture Rich Lipstick (24 Pure)

• L'Oreal Paris Glam Shine Fresh (186 Aqua Grapefruit)

I look so sleepy because I forgot to put on mascara or eye liner, but later I put my glasses on, so no worries for me. My fave mascara is Maybelline The Hypercurl Volume Express Water Proof Mascara. And my ultimate eyeliner is Revlon Colorstay Liquid Liner in Charcoal.

There you go. I' m ready for running my errands...

Below was yesterday face... hahaha... same make-up but different lipstick... I wore SilkyGirl Moisture Rich Lipstick in color 18 Appealing..

Busy Mom Daily Makeup Routine

Moms are busy, especially in the morning. We should managed to make the breakfast, bath and dress the kids, pack snack box, while getting ready for taking kids to school or off to work on time. We definetely dont have spare time to put on make up flawlessly, but we still want to look nice when we leave the house.

So here goes my make up routine and the products that i wear everyday on school days :

After shower, I put on The Face Shop Blemish Zero Clarifying Toner and pat gently on my face and neck.

I took my Sabina to shower and dressed her up, then I dotted a few bb cream (should formulated with moisturizer and spf) on my face, then buff them all over. I am using the Bio-essence Aqua BB Cream with SPF 25/PA++ with Everyday Mineral flat top brush. Forget the primer, foundation, concealer...absolutely no time for them.

Asked Sabina to put on her own socks and shoes, while I powder my face with The Face Shop Face it Lesson 01 Flawless Mineral Cover Powderand, and blush my face with SilkyGirl Blush Hour in 04 Honeywood. I use The Face Shop Face It brush kit to apply them.

Finally, apply my fave lipstick, SilkyGirl Moisture Rich Lipstick in color 28 Sensual.

Well..that's it, my simple everyday make up.
